Having been a loyal customer for the last couple of years, the way I have just been spoken to on the phone is absolutely appalling. Having just ordered a meal for the family, they failed to deliver one of the meals. Upon calling to inform them, they said that they could deliver the missing meal but there would be a 40 minute wait-time. With this obviously meaning everyone else in the family would've finished their meal by then, I asked instead that the driver quickly turned around and refunded us for the missing meal. I was then asked to wait, whereby I was then told I hadn't been charged for the missing meal (i.e. they had failed to write it down upon ordering). They then continued to offer to re-deliver but that I would have to pay for the additional meal (which they had forgotten I should remind you). It became quite clear that there wasn't going to be a satisfactory outcome immediately, which I had come to accept. But the fact they were unwilling to offer some form of resolution for the future did not go down well as you can imagine. Whilst remaining calm, I told them that I thought this was terrible customer service, the critical feedback was met with a rude response and was told they would now be hanging up as this had "gone to far". Again, I must emphasise, that whilst remaining calm, I told them that this would result in them losing a loyal customer, to which the response was "that's fine" and then being hung up on.I often read bad reviews on here and thing "Come on, have you really got nothing better to do than write a lengthy bad review on a public platform?" so, the fact that I'm actually "being that guy" should go some way to show how awful and rude their interaction with me had been. I've worked in the customer service field my entire life, and for that reason I do not actually believe that "the customer is always right". However, when a mistake has been made, it is the companies duty to make amends and to converse with customer in a respectful fashion, even if common ground cannot be found. Hanging up the phone is never an option, unless the customer becomes abusive which was certainly not the case.We will never be ordering with them again. So in summary, you're more than likely to get a good meal with these guys, but just be aware that if anything is to ever go wrong, you will be met with rude, arrogant behaviour from them.Wow, writing a bad review is exhausting, who knew?
By far the best Chinese in the country
Me and my partner ordered from here tbis eveing, i can onestly say i carnt remeber the last time i enjoyed a good chiniese like this. Very tasty/fresh this is definitly our new chiniese takeaway. Also lady on front very lovley :0)
Fantastic food, the duck is always all meat and no scrabbly bits. The curry is outstanding as well. I highly recommend!
The food was delicious and a massive portion! It was very hot too which was nice as it was the right temperature to eat when we got home. The place was immaculate and the lady on the front was very good. Would recommend to anyone who fancies a Chinese. The only problem I had was trying to find a menu online.
