Great pub..... and v-friendly
Attended a function for my nephew's daughter's birthday. The building is ok. The beer is ok. But the landlord was the most miserable, rude, unhelpful and unfriendly individual you could possibly imagine. What's more, there is a sign outside proclaiming free room hire but he charged my nephew 30 quid for the privilege of bringing in more trade. Not a happy place.
What a great 'proper' pub, and cask mild too, what a joy, loved it and will be back.
